The Governor’s Office of Energy Development is pleased to announce the fourth annual Governor’s Energy Development Summit on May 20 and 21, 2015. Register now and spend a day networking with and hearing from over one hundred expert speakers, as well as elected officials, and energy industry leaders.

The 2015 Summit will address regional, national and international energy issues, encouraging the participation of energy professionals from the Intermountain West and far beyond. In Utah, energy not only fuels our diverse economy, but it touches our daily lives, and the Governor’s Energy Development Summit annually recognizes its significance, and aims to promote the sector’s responsible growth in the Intermountain West and throughout the nation.

The Summit serves as a meeting place and display case for businesss, provides educational opportunities for non-profits and the public, and brings together state and national officials to better understand regulatory issues and policy options.

Day One of the 2015 Summit will include an opening panel dealing with international energy issues and export opportunities, as well as an evening reception and trade show. Day Two will feature breakfast and lunch plenary sessions with discussions hosted by Governor Gary R. Herbert and Jack Gerard of the American Petroleum Institute.  It will also feature a dozen break-out sessions dealing with cross-cutting and timely energy issues, and an all-day trade show featuring Utah’s energy sector leaders.

OED could not make this phenomenal event happen without the leadership of Governor Gary R. Herbert,  and the continued generosity of its partners, both in industry and in government.
