As part of its efforts toward improving the MINHERS section 303.1, RESNET® has released draft PDS-01 of Addendum 74. The Addendum includes a definition for Space Constrained Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps for utilizing SEER2/HSPF2 Conversion Factors established by Addendum 71. It also removes the self-expiring COVID pandemic exception (RESNET Addendum 61), for the use of defaults values for leakage and airflow in lieu of test determined values and to add a normative footnote definition for Space Constrained AC and Heat Pump which expired 30 days after the federal COVID pandemic emergency declaration expired.
