Members of RESNET will be able to participate in EEBA training courses through the new partnership.

RESNET has entered into a new partnership with the Energy and Environmental Alliance (EEBA) to create educational and training opportunities for RESNET members and to expand the amount of people involved in EEBA’s training programs. RESNET recognizes EEBA as a Preferred Education Partner, a program that allows both organizations to more efficiently and effectively serve the educational needs of the building science and HERS communities.

“RESNET and EEBA share a common goal to grow the industry with well-educated energy professionals who are up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies,” says RESNET Executive Director Steve Baden. “That is why we are excited for this partnership to improve access for RESNET raters to EEBA’s high-quality nationally recognized training.”

RESNET will recognize EEBA courses for Professional Development Credits and CEU credits for RESNET Raters, Rating Field Inspectors, Quality Assurance Designees and Rater Trainers. These courses include Houses That Work, Taking the Performance Path: The ERI/HERS Index for Designers and Builders, and High Performance Mechanical Systems for Houses that Work.

The organizations will also support each other’s annual conferences and regional training events.
